Mena Alexandra (born on the 13th of February 1979) is a model and actress in the US. Shortly after beginning her career as an actress Mena Alexandra Svari was a regular as an actress in the 1990s on television shows Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her film debut was in 1997's drama Nowhere. Her performances on American Beauty - for which she was nominated to get a BAFTA Award - and American Pie and American Pie, which earned much attention, she transitioned into bigger roles. After that, she appeared as the protagonist on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2000) along with American Pie star Jason Biggs. Spun, a 2002 independent drama film and Trauma (2004) thriller were both prominent in her work. The actress was a part of HBO's drama show Six Feet Under. In 2004 she was nominated as an Outstanding Cast member at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, Suvari was included in a variety of films, like Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh or the movie adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari is a model on behalf of Lancome Paris Adaptive, and she's also been featured in a variety of blogs and magazines such as Vogue. She has been a strong advocate and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation. She's also involved in charities that fight breast cancer, and End Violence Against Women.
