Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Known worldwide as Lady Gaga. She was born in Manhattan, New York, in the USA. Cynthia Louise Bissett is the vice president for mobile operators Verizon. Her father was a successful businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an internet network company. The family she grew up with was Catholic and she was raised in the Upper East Side in Manhattan. The parents of her were enrolled at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious elitist institution. The passion for music started in the early years of a child. She learned piano as a teenager and, when she was 13she composed her first track. Open mic nights were her absolute favorite. Her favorite artists were David Bowie, Madonna and Michael Jackson. When she finished high school, she enrolled in the Tisch School of Art of New York University where she studied music. However, after high school she chose to pursue a music career and abandoned the study.
